Looking for a tuning shop in North West FL I live in Destin and I'm looking for a shop that can tune my heads/Cam '93 LS1 Rx7. I got a mail order tune done so I could get the car on/off the trailer, around to the exhaust shop and a couple quick cruises around town but I'm getting annoyed with the stalling and surging.
Can anyone point me to a local shop between pensacola and tallahassee that can handle this? I tried SpeedFab, but it's really far away (6+ hrs) and Tracy never got back to me on it.

Xtreme motor sports has a shop in blountstown, FL. They do dyno tuning.
I have no personal experience with them so I can not vouch to there work.

XXX Motorsports in Pensecola is where I would go honestly. There really isn't too many choices up there but those guys can easily take care of what you need.

Since Jon left XXX Motorsports I am not 100% sure that Brad is tuning LS car's ? I think you can call XXX and talk to Brad and they will set up a appointment for Jon to come by and still tune? Again I am not sure but it would be worth the phone call to find out!

We are in NE FL, I know, hours away...but we have a 93 RX7 with an LS2 in the shop right now- so I guess you could say we have some experience with these types of setups. Car is getting a real suspension fab'd up today. Then the direct port N20 is getting dialed in as soon as it has some real support up underneath.
When the car got to our shop it had some issues that we have been ironing out. It put down 502 rwhp right off the flatbed on the motor alone. After a pcm swap to a 99+up (came in with a 98) it put down 522 rwhp. Give us a call at the shop 904 531 9367.

Damn Doc what's that LS2 got in it for that HP? Not trying to thread jack. I actually came in here to recommend EFI Alchemy anyways. Great guys there

Well there is a ls1/rx7 here in tally, and there is a dynojet with EFI live, HP Tuners, or SCT tuning software.
I just got my car back(T56 rebuild) from Doc/EFI Alchemy in Jax last week and would definitely recommend them as well. I saw the rx7 they had there and it was beautiful(if it was the one from Melbourne).
