Where can I get the computer reprogram
Does anyone know where can I reprogram the computer. I need somebody good but not to expensive to program the computer. It's a OBD II LT4 from 97 SS. I have a few stuff done to the engine. Like the cam, heads, injectors, and bolts on. I live at Rockledge, about 10 minutes from Cocoa Beach. I try looking somebody local or somewhere in FL.

Do you want someone "guessing" what your car is doing and making adjustments, or do you want them to "know" what the car is doing and make adjustments?
It's so funny to read about these people who spend thousands on a car and then try to justify a cheap tune. My car with just BOLT ONS was running upward of 14.6:1 at 5000rpms WOT AFTER adding fuel when it was getting tuned. Whether its Jeremy or someone else, spend the money on a quality tune from someone with a good reputation.

We recently added a new member to our team at EFI Alchemy. Tony Bishop is taking care of all of our LT1 customers now. Please call the shop for scheduling and pricing.

I paid the $275.00 for a mail order tune - that is why I'm looking for someone who can dyno tune it. A mail order tune was good enough just to get it running, but it's no where near optimum. Definitely get a dyno tune, no question at all. Unless you built a new motor as I did, you will just be throwing your money away.

Do not spend the $$$ on a mail order tune IMHO. There is no substitute for getting a custom program done. As mentioned, EFI or Jeremy could handle your needs (along with a few others in Florida). Jeremy travels around to different shops, so that may help you out.

Mail order tunes are not that great. I had one back in the day on my SS. Never was right. I know a guy that got a TSP tune for a GTO and it always stalled and the trims were off. It will make it run, but at least have someone do it in person. Every car IS different. You don't have to run it on the dyno unless you want it maxed out. Street tune would be fine unless you want to run it on the dyno

I'm thinking to do the dyno tune. BUt I don't really want to spend that kind of money if I have to do it again in the future. Because I'm getting 396 on a few years. I'm basically just want the car to run fine, and not rough. WHat do you guys think about Doc from EFI Alchemy? My buddy knows him. And a couple people recommend him.
