Default Need help from someone with a 98 corvette

I swapped a 98 corvette ls1 computer and wireing harness into a 85 mustang.
The car will start up for about 5 seconds then it dies.
NO it is not the VATS
Norris looked at the car today, and we made use VATS was off.

I am looking for someone near Melbourne with a 98/97 vette I can either put their computer in my car, or my computer in their car to see if the problem is in my computer or wireing.

We turned VATS back on, and tried to start it, the car only ran for about 1 second. With the VATS disabled the car runs about 5 seconds.
All basics have been checked.

does it die after 5 seconds, or immediatly after you drop it into gear? Did you keep keep the electronic TB or put on a cable one?

OK problem solved and it was interesting.
Since I used 98 corvette stuff they have an extra thing in them called steering wheel lock out. This needs turned off. To turn this off you need to use HP Tuner cause LS1 edit does not do this. Car is running!
Thank you elcaminokid for having HP tuner and helping me out with this!
