I'd try just re-settin it up, The first axle I ever built was a 9" for my friends truck. The nine inch is the easiest of all axles. great to learn on!

Was yours not preset from the factory? My third member got shipped direct from Strange, pretty much eliminating Eric from that equation.
Mine's pretty loud as well though, I've just kinda accepted it.

I do not believe so. Mine was already assembled when I received it cause i was in a rush to get the car back on the road.

I remember him telling me that he sets them up himself.

Eric set up mine before shipping. Dead quiet, even after several track passes with a spool. It stays on a DR, never seen a street tire.

I must've been the oddball in that then b/c I know for a fact mine was shipped right from the factory. I'll save you the long story of how/why I know, but it involved the box it came in looking like swiss cheese when I got it (FedEx ).
