Ocala guys! Possible weekly/bi-monthly/monthly meet. Hey guys, been thinking of doing a meetup once a week for us f-body guys. I know we did one on a weekend a little over a year or so ago (maybe longer) and it was pretty good. Just a cruise in, shoot the ****, and maybe go out to dinner kinda thing. I'm looking to do it on a weekday evening, fairly early like 7-8pm or so. I have a location on hwy 200 that I'd be able to control who stays and who goes (in case "ricer nation" sees us and wants to join). Let me know what ya'll think?

Depending on what night. I coach the womens roller derby on monday and tuesday nights. and have to little girls that need attention as well.. but I would be down to meet whenever I can.. lets do it!

Haha, tell 'tana (the little redhead) that Beej says hi at tonight's practice....she'll know who you're talking about. It was actually tuesday nights I was looking at. I wouldn't be opposed to a thursday or Wednesday though.

y a weeknight.. they have a real car meet sat nights..at lees chicken by wing house on hwy40..real cars..no ricers that i seen of when i pass by..i've never stoped in..

Alright, so from what I'm gathering Wednesday or Thursday will be best. Wednesday might get in the way from those wanting to hit the track (or we could just meet up and leave for the track) and Thursday is the same night as a certain meet in Gainesville that I don't go to much anymore anyways......almost leaning towards Thursday night. Anymore input?
BTW Chevelle, I do see those guys out at the Lee's, but I think it's more like an after meet after the monthly car show there at Albertsons. I'm not sure it's an every week thing. I'm just trying to gear this towards the chevy/f-body crowd...although the guys I have the garage with are Lightning guys (one does own a G8 GT though).

Anyone? I think I'll be there anyways since I got some friends that will be there working on their project.
It'll be at the old bubble bath carwash on hwy 200. It's right across the street from Ocala Nissan/Mitsubishi. I'll try and stick around at 8pm and a little after to see if anyone shows. If we aren't there but some cars are, that's cause we went to dinner!

It's 8:20 and I'm packing up with my friends to head up to gville. I know no one confirmed they were coming but I I figured I be out here at 8 just in case. Post up if you guys wanna try again and on what day. I'll be out of town all of next week.

Bumping this up due to conversation in the other Ocala thread. Actually should be at my shop this Friday evening to remove my transmission to send it off for a rebuild. There's a couple nice trucks in there too, and a good sound system. Me and a couple friends usually grab a bite to eat at the sonney's down the road before we get heavy into the work at about 7-8pm. Anyone is welcome to stop by. PM me for directions if you don't know where it's at.

Anyone stopping by tonight? I don't think I'll get to working on my car, but I'll be helping my friend put his 3.4L whipple'd Lightning back together so we can get it off the lift. We can head out for dinner somewhere and discuss possible meeting times.
