Default Ok Now i gotta pick some parts?...

Took the block to the machine shop.. its getting a bore and hone and complete bottom end rebuild. I have to buy pistons. but which kind? trying to stay on a budget... Not a FI motor .. So which kind?

some affordable forged speed pro's should work, how much over bore are you doing?

im not sure? he just said pick a piston and see what sizes they offer.. not very much he said.

yea, the cylinder walls needed bore and honing.. im thinking of going .005 over, a cam and stall are going in as well when it goes back together.

How big of a cam are you going to? You may want to get pistons with valve reliefs in them. So that in the future if you go to a big cam wtih aftermarket heads you will not need to fly cut them.

Still undecided on the cam.. still shopping around.. and yes i think i will Def. go with some with valve reliefs..

get pistons with valve reliefs, and go ahead and have the machine shop mill your heads while they are working on it. Also get a thinner hg. That's all "free" hp by bumping up the compression. I'd say a mid 230's duration cam. 231/237 gets my vote.
