Best way to get it moving quick would be rear end gears and a stall converter if its auto.
Then would get full dual exhaust ( longtube headers, and whatever high flow mufflers u want or straightpipes ) and an upgraded intake. Im not a fan of the cone filter ones so i just have a slp lid.
Then a high lift cam and supporting mods (springs, pushrods, titanium retainors, and maybe rocker arms). Cam will respond well with the longtubes and stall converter if its auto.

It's a six speed I was thinking about just gettin the 3.73 gears along with the ms 3 or 4 cam (still undecided) and then the prc dual valve spring kit that comes with it. Also thinking the 1 and 7/8 in tsp headers with ory and just a slp catback

If you plan on doing any serious racing (I.E. using radials or bias ply slicks, hard shifting, or pretty much anything other than auto cross and 60 mph roll races) start saving up of a bigger rear end. Skip 3.73 gears and go with minimum 4.11 when you get a better rear end. Full exhaust. Suspension components. Then maybe cam and/or heads. Also, take out as much weight as possible.

1 3/4 headers is all you'll need on a stock cubed motor. There is a list of things that can be done but need more insight on things such as is it a daily driver? What will be the main use of the car ? Drag race, street use, road race?? How good of drivabilty are you wanting? How many mile are on the car now?

1. LID AND K & N
2. PACESETTER HEADERS AND ORY AND A CAT BACK SYSTEM
3. PLUGS AND WIRES
4. 4.10 GEARS
5. CAM AND TIMING CHAIN PLUS OIL PUMP AND INJECTORS AND A TUNE
That should be a good starting point for you.
