I wouldnt bring slicks if you use water to heat them up, as this is a street event and last time I was there they where not hosing down the start.

its a fun event, mostly all street cars, get there early and you will be able to get a bunch of runs. From the Winghouse the track is really close, maybe 15 minutes top.

I avoid the street heat events because I have been told there is mayhem. I would like to go to an event with a lot of fellow LS guys though.

I've been twice and had a good time, but I'm an old guy so I leave around 11-12 so what happens afterwards dont know.

Street heat moves fast so a lot of runs, but the one time I went it was also crowded. I also suck at launching so I tend to not go to the 1/8th mile tracks too often, the fun in tracks for me is winding it out into 4th gear, not letting out of the throttle part way through third.

I'm headed out to watch my roommate play hockey that night, or I'd be there. Have fun everyone!
