We're developing an 8.8 conversion as we speak...still in fab and fitment stages...the conversion kit should be very affordable and offer a 4th option for rear ends on the fbody.

Probably somewhere between a couple months and street warrior intake release.

Alot of people have mentioned great rears but not axles. So which ever rear you go with try to 33 spine or bigger !!! I have seen many H/C LS cars with no bottle messing up 31 spline axles only pulling 380-430 to the rear !!!

We're developing it right now for our Project BackLash which you can follow in this section. It's not something you slap together in a day, that's for sure. But we work on it when we have time.

Then we have to test it.

I would expect a month or two to have some idea of it's capability and cost!

Stay tuned...

Otherwise, don't waste your time "beefing" up your rear...nothing will save it.

31 spline in the correct application can be very strong. The more splines, the better, but you are limited by carrier type and application as to what you can run.

Nope, stock 8.8 housing from a Mustang as it has better provisions for mounting hardware than say an 8.8 from an Explorer or Expedition...
That's not to say we won't develop a mount for those as well, but for now Mustang rear it is.

It's a 3 -pc design - a lower clamshell, and upper clamshell and a rear bracket that sandwiches between the diff housing and diff cover...

It's a nice unit, it's coming along a little at a time.
