so yeah, randomly got a pack of matchbox cars for my son for his birthday. and as i always do, I have to go through and identify them all after he takes them out. to my amazement, in the middle of the pack was a bright green Holden Ute SSV. Now I only wish I could find a real one

He He, I use matchbox cars as bribes for my gransons, I found the SSV at publix the other day. I kept it for me.

well the ssr had pretty limited useability due to the size of its "bed" and coming with a hard tonneau covermade it basically a 2 seater car with a big trunk. I was never that impressed with them honestly. but I love the look of the Ute, and especially after seeing top gear thrash it and love it, it just confirms it for me. and we know how anti-gm they are, and they had nothing bad to say about it. if GM does bring them over, and they are available 6 speed, my t/a may end up at dealership

If anyone bought the SSR for practicality as a usable truck, then bitched, or even didn't buy it, but bitched that it was a "useless" truck, needs to be shot in the face!
