Default Tips on preventing the Love bug death toll score on front bumper?

This is in preparation for the trip to the Silver springs show in ocala.

i was thinking about taping off the middle section of the bumper with masking tape or that blue automotive tape or cutting up a black trash bag and taping it over the front.

Any other suggestions?

PlastiDip. Wax it before you spray so it comes off real easy. Might want to do part of the hood as well in case of rock chips.

There are no openings in the front of an Fbody that let air directly into the radiator. All your air comes in from under the car via the air dam.

the euro car guys go crazy over the painter's tape. it has actually become a huge fad for them to go crazy with it and make designs, or draw on it or something like that. also maybe wax then PAM cooking spray
