Video result of a set up race... end up running the same exact times
I posted on a local car forum that I was looking for a competitive race. My car runs consistent 11.0s so I was hunting for a range anywhere between 10.8-11.2. I found exactly what I was looking for in a 72 Nova with a small block and some giggle juice. We both end up running the same exact times...
Here's the video:
If you only want to see the race, watch from 1:00 - 2:00 in the video.
However...This is the crazy part...This was at a local event with sponsors who helped to put it together. One of them was raffling off a 32" LCD TV. It just so happened that they announced the winner at the end of my race, and my brother-in-law won. All of which I catch on video along with all of my in-laws reactions. I left the video unedited so you can see the chain of events that happen. Or, if you're just curious what Bradenton Motorsports Park looks like... you get to see a 360 view. lol
Oh, and one more thing. Pay attention to the view from the staging to the launch. If nothing else, this is a decent video of what people are talking about when we say: you don't want your car to 'squat'. You will notice when I stage and footbrake the car up to about 3600 rpm, the back of the car goes UP.... NOT down. Now, I'm preloaded and ready to plant the tires into the ground as there's weight transfer from the front to the back during launch. Thus resulting in a 1.48 60' from 425 hp and 3600+ lbs raceweight.

The Nova was very nice. Interior looked great and the color grew on me.

Awesome match up- But I will have to agree to disagree on squat- But then, I'm talking M6 car.
What is the difference?

When someone figues out how to stall an M6 car against the brakes, be sure to send me the link. I'm ok with my squat and 1.29 60's.
Yikes, attitude with that 1.29 too. I don't 60' anywhere near you. Video of this car?

Don't you start with me, you dork
The vids of it are everywhere, even here.
Speaking of, why is it again I never see you at Oktoberfest in Ocala? Don't want to be seen with me?

Derek already has dibs on the sheep, but I'm responsible for sneaking the beer into the park. So, see you in October?
I better find some wax for the car by then.
