Front Plate Question
Sup people,
I'm going to be in Florida for 6 months for my new job. Since the car will be running NY plates, a 2 plate state, can I get away with only running the rear down in FL? Or is that something the local PD won't like?

Can you cite the code for this? If Florida only requires one plate, and as such has no 2 plate law how are FL LEO going to ticket for it?

I got pulled over for having no front plate back in 03 in Fort Lauderdale in my old 93 Thunderbird SC with an Indiana plate. I was going 5 miles an hour in a traffic jam and the cop pulled me over I was literally like what did I do? And he kinda had an attitude and said well my records show the Indiana requires a front plate and so I kind of gave the attitude back to him and said Well your records are wrong because I've lived in Indiana for 24 years and they don't issue a front license plate. He walks back to his car probably got on the radio and was told exactly what I told him and comes back up and goes well I pull over all out of state cars just to check. what an ***! profile much?

I'll put this back on you. Why do you think a violation of the home state law is not a violation here? I bet any LEO could write an improper display of registration ticket and it will stick (at least that's what my cop buddy said). The single plate law in Florida ONLY applies to vehicles registered here.
