Default AC question after install

hey guys, i just have a quick question. i have just installed a whole new AC system into my camaro and now have to take it to a shop to have vacumed/flushed/filled with freon. i have put the correct amount of oil into the compressor and dryer. Is it ok if i hook everything back up and drive it to the shop without the AC on? i dont want to destroy the new compressor and the orphice tube. please let me know of any suggestions or fixes.

So if you're worried about turning on the compressor just don't plug it in. Holy everything together and you will be good. Don't forget your compressor will engage also if you have the selector on defrost.
