Default Building LS Powered '63 Dodge Dart GT (LC9)

We're building an LS Powered '63 Dodge Dart GT. It's the car I took my first driver test in way back in 1973. My Mom's first car, so we're keeping it in the family with some reliable and affordable power! Still have my first car, the '66 Coronet.

The plan is to keep engine weight in line with 225ci Slant Six (525lbs w/ Accessories) by building off of a LC9/LH6 Aluminum Block. Trying to keep it close to stock power (335ish) since the car will be eventually my oldest sons first muscle car. Planning modified 4L60E or better. Emphasis will be on streetablity and dependability for now. Car should scale out around 3000lbs with 3.55 gears so we need that OD. Mini Tubbing and Spring Move to get 10.5" tire under the back. Updating brakes and safety stuff.

ISO LC9/LH6 as Long Block, or as full Pull out unit.

Cool. Will do T-Bone! We made a lot of progress this weekend. Should be ready to do final cleaning and do some rust protection with KBS Coating on the Floorboards/Trunk this next week.
