Just moved to St. Petersburg, opening up shop. Whats missing?
Hey everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself and get some feedback of what is happening in the Tampa area.
My name is David and I recently moved here from WI where I owned a shop that specialized in custom fabrication, forced induction and late-model GM vehicles specifically the Ls engine. We put an LS in just about everything. Before getting into the LS game, I was heavy into Nissans. The reason I got into GM stuff in the first place was the last engine I put in my s13, a LS2 (I have had pretty much every motor in an S chassis). I now own a TT c6 Corvette and an e36 track car (LS powered ofcoarse)
So, I am out looking at spaces right now to get started and I am just curious what the performance scene is like in this area. Im sure there are some bigger shops out there but as a previous shop owner, I know there are always people that were rubbed the wrong way or people out there looking for something different.
I appreciate any feedback and I hope to meet some of you some day.

I actually just did 2 A Bodies with your full suspension. I have also used quite a few of your turbo K members. I will defiantly have to swing by!

yep LS in Florida is exploding, lot of fly by night shops also that think they are the pros! lol!
but for quality work there will always be room. I use All American street car performance in Largo. when you have over 10 LS swaps waiting at the shop you know something is being done right. Pinellas County was so saturated with Ford shops it's nice to see the GM performance growing
