Hot Rod Power Tour 2011 The Hot Rod Power Tour is starting in Cocoa Beach next year on the 4th of June and going to Detroit. Allready signed up! Got three friends from the Michigan Camaro club coming down to join the drive. Start saving your $

Me and the wife are down for the long haul we jaust read about it today and she's just as happy as me(she loves road trips).And the best part is it starts 15 mins from my house hell yeah

I have done it three times before, This year should be a blast.
day 1 is Cocoa Beach,
day 2 South Georgia Motorsports park in Valdosta,
day 3 Montgomery Motorsports park in Al.
day 4 Nashville,
day 5 Indianapolis Motor Speedway,
day 6 Muskegon Mi, From there, free room and board that night LOL!
and last day Detroit.

I'll be going, just wondering how much to budget...Since my buddy is from Indy we'll be going up there...To those who have done it, its what 200-250 a day? Gas, food and hotel? I just want to plan it so wife doesn't see total bill.

I just got all my hotel's reserved and it's averaging around 100.00 a night. figure 1-1&1/2 tanks of gas, chow, in the past I put out about $200 a day but hotels were cheaper those years I would figure $250 and you should be good to go. If you have someone to split the hotel & gas that would take it down to $175 a day

I am definitely in for this year!!!! When I get back from Iraq in April sometime, I am going to get started on the H/C swap and get it over to Masport for a tune so I can get on up to cocoa!!!! I'm glad it starts a lot closer to WPB this year!!!!
