Default Space shuttle night launch pics

I went to see the shuttle launch lastnight after the carl black show. There not the best pics but i was right across the river and seeing it for the first time at night it was awesome. Its a must see at night it just lit up the sky and hearing the rumble as it goes up.

I wish i could have gotten closer. My girls aunt works for the united space alliance but we were watching the titusville xmas parade and then walked a block to the river. I would have loved to feel the heat from it.

The space shuttle kicks all a$$.

I live in Port St. Lucie which is about an hour and a half from the Cape and it looked AWESOME going up. Those pics are about what it looked like here. It looked bad ***, the way it just came up and lit the sky. It looked like the sun rising times ten! Nice pics Thanks for sharing!

I love that its average cruising speed is 25000mph!!! I want a ride! lol

We saw it last night. We were wondering why everyone was pulling off the road. Ive never seen it in such detail like I did on a back road in winter park.

Let have a name, I work FCS for USA, Flight Crew Systems,

NASA wants to build a rocket with a capsule on top with 2 SRB's, one on each side, it's in the works,

I've heard of them seeing it all the way to South Carolina at night,

I've working on it for 18 yrs it's killer, still amazes me every time,

About 30 miles south, no tripod so the pics could have been much better, but you get the idea. Remember it was dark out, lol. You got to see a night launch if you haven't.

Wow, those pics look cool. Too bad it didn't go up next month at night. I'm moving to Palm Coast next month. Do u think I can see the shuttle go up in the sky there?
