Whats Fridays weather supposed to look like? I'm well away from Orlando, so when I saw t-storms a few weeks ago I aborted heading out there. OH yeah and I had a seized guide pin also.

It was pretty disappointing, but expect nothing less in Orlando during the summer. Looked like about 50 cars waited out the rain at the gate I think we got in like 7pm. After they opened the gate they dried the track till about 8 or so. I lined up with a Cobra and we got the tires hot. They had some problem with the timing system and attempted to fix it till about 9ish. I think they either gave up due to an electrical problem, the late start, a tiny sprinkle at 9:15, or a combination of things.

One hell of an effort to try to get people down the track safely though.

Yea, we definitely tried hard. As soon as the rain stopped, we were drying the track despite the giant wall of clouds bearing down on us, lightning and all. After we were totally done prepping and drying, we couldn't send the tree on the starting line, nor could we start it from the Tower.

If you didn't notice, we got new landscaping in front of the Tower, and what I am guessing is that when they were putting down the foundation for the bushes, they may have spiked a wire. Should be fixed by the time we are ready to open on Friday though.

Sorry for those who were disappointed last night.
