Default Transmission/gear shop in central FL?? Anyone know of a good one?

I just bought a used DTE differential with 4.10's and the guy told me it had a whine in it. Basically what I want to do is take it to a place to get it refreshed/conditioned.
Is there a good/reputable place around that can do that without me having to send it off to DTE just to save $100+ on shipping?

Thanks in advance.

Sending it out to DTE is not too bad of an idea if you consider that there may be some kind of warranty availablw possibly. maybe talk to them and see. But I do have a contact at a local dealership that does do rebuilds. has done a couple for me and they have been trouble free. Give me a call and i will put you in contact with him. Hope this helps.

Thanks mike. As far as warranty goes, there's none that DTE will do. DTE will not even give me a rough estimate over the phone on what it's going to cost me for them to refresh it. Once it is refreshed, i'll be driving her up to winter garden
I kinda wanted to Dyno it again with a Ported FAST 90/90 and my vararam/air bridge before I put the differential in. I just gotta save up more damn money for that Ported 90. Paypal screwed me out of $700 that I am still fighting them for "and getting nowhere" on that differential deal.

Is Advanced Driveline still around? Couple of people I went to school with in Gainesville that were from Orlando spoke pretty highly of them.

Advance Driveline is still around on the west side of town off of All American on Carder Rd. They do good work, and give one year warranty on rebuilt diffs usually... I just used them for mine...

Advanced Driveline has done a lot of work for me, Ask for George. They are the place to go for rear and driveshaft work.
