Default Seminole Community College Car Show - Oct 20

Hey guys just wanna let you know in advance that the Automotive Technology Department at SCC will be putting on their 1st Annual Car & Truck show on Saturday October 20th, 2007. All contact info is on the bottom of the flyer.

There will be many different classes and the winners of each will receive a trophy for placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. If you want to enter your car please contact Jason and let him know so he can get a general idea of the amount of space that will be needed and about how many cars will be in each class.

I hope to see a large F-body crowd there!

Maybe I'll head out there, I think they Gators play Kentucky at Kentucky that day so it won't be that big of a deal! My car should be close to being finished too. Need to install everything I have sitting in the garage and then do the interior and paint the car. Then save up again for a built motor.

is this the second car show that they've hosted? b/c you cant have a "first annual" of something that you have never had before. i guess thats why they're in community college!

Haha good one

If "community colleges" are inferior, could you possibly explain why SCC has the #1 automotive program in the country?

Yeah, good catch about the title. You seem like a sharp person! It was too late before the editors caught it. I'd like to have you on the planning committee for this show!

However, there has been another car show on campus in the past.

Technically, it wasn't last year, so the annual thing is wrong.

Still no reason to hate, and LS1Kid is right, we are the number #1 program in the nation. And there is nothing wrong with Community College.

I have been tasked with heading up this car show, and it's main purpose is to raise awareness of our new $10M building, and let young people know that working on cars is a highly technical skill, and that you can't learn how to fix new cars by reading forums! lol

We are currently looking for interest in pre-registration. As of today, we currently can only accept checks, money orders, Visa, Am-Ex, and Master Card.

I hope to have a way the college can accept donations in cash form really soon. Putting on a car show at a college is more work than you might think!!

Thank you all for your support!

I was behind you at the red light by the Dodge dealer today. ( Was driving the truck though) Thought your car looked familiar. Looks good, you don't see many Green ones that clean!

It's all starting to make sense now! Is little brother going to be in the ASEP program?

Here is a pic of my 1955 Chevy that should be arriving in a couple of weeks from NY. Will be at the car show, but not sure if I will have the LSx 6 spd. install done by then.
