To them it is like our cars to us. Some people are just not capable of working on cars but can excel at other things. I do think that it is kind of crazy that they are spending that much money on a costume, but to each their own right?!?

i do get where you are coming from if your trying to say that it is a hobby for them to collect these types of things but they dont mod them they keep them and sell it.
but in the end its all a hobby

you have to keep in mind if someone is dropping 25 grand or more on a COSTUME... it's probably because they CAN..... 25 grand aint **** to them.
Also, like stated above.... if your a fan of something or really enjoy something.. you'll do whatever to collect stuff.
I've spent around 20 grand on my car (including the car), a lot more if you take maintaince/insurance/gas into the equation.... I have another car so it's not even something that is neccesary....
If you have a passion for something, you'll spend whatever.
Don't judge others just because you can't relate
You probably have more in common with them then you think.

The costume is bad-***, but i would love to have one of those statues that has the master chief holding two SMGs. All my friends love Halo but online, i prefer the campaign part of the game i have never been to crazy about halo online. I enjoy Battlefield 2 online more, i guess cause it seems more present.

WOW... i wish i would have thought of selling something like that... I know i wont get 22k out of my car anytime soon.... that fella is making a helluva return on that suit
