Good Luck They Are Hard To Find. You Should Ask A Big Company Who There Distribuors Are In Florida Thats How I Found One. I Was Getting A Procharger And Found A Shop In My Town Through Procharger And They Have Been Doing A Good Job For Me

call local ls1 junk yards and ask around.

Contact your nearest f-body or y-body association and see where they get their work done. Goodluck.

here in south florida I dont know any major names. The big guys used to be GM Express, but I think they vanished.

anyway, goodluck

I'm sorry, but there are NO good ls1 shops in South Florida.
RevExtreme in Tampa, Norris and Vinci in Orlando are your nearest quality shops.
Don't waste your money with anyone else down here (I'm serious).

Mike Norris just announced on Corvetteforum, that he is joining forces with a tuner down in Pampano. Can't remember the name of the shop.

I have had Norris (Next Level Perf) do all the work on my car, and I hail from North Port Fl on the west side.

Ditto to what this man said!

There is one other option if its something you dont want to tackle yourself... go to www.pbfbody.com and PM BLUEBALLS ZZ or Brian C . Dave and Brian know their way around these cars and they tend to do work for people from time to time.

i think my only option is norris right now. So i might give them a call and see what they say. Also split image automotive in west palm is really good. I went to them to build my truck about a year ago and they were awesome. I asked him about ls1's and he said he does them all the time no prob. So im thinking about him to. His work on my truck was amazing. He is a lil slow but when you get your car back it is perfect.

GM Express came and went in a cloak of mystery. Their shop car crashed at SLP Day in Orlando a few years ago. They stopped answering their phone soon after.

i recommend rev extreme in tampa. i tuned my car with them and i was very happy. i was also able to see their work and they are a small shop with a good amount of cars there that are making good power. i have heard bad things from norris and this is from sources who have had their cars built by them. for cams and things like that i would do them myself, but for a complete engine i would probably look at hpe or the like to get it done right and shipped to my door. once it is at my door then the rest is cake.

I would recommend RevXtreme in Tampa anyday. Jeremy Formato handles alot of their tuning and he is amazing at what he can do. The shop is small, but they know what their doing and do incredible work. IMO, only shop I would go to.

I have been doing quite a few jobs out of my house and might be teaming forces with a good company and with a Great GM mechanic shortly. The building is finished and we are working out the details.
Maybe this will be a option for some of you south guys.

I recomend Rev Extreme as well. They helped me alot on my car and tuned it in speed density mode. They have an engine builder but he may be backlogged. The last engine they built was a 408 built for juice, a dual stage progressive/dry/direct port very trick nitrous system went on...and it made ~875 rwhp. They have also done forged 346s for boosted cars that are running around making great power.

Or if you have a builder lined up you can have the motor shipped to RX and they will finish assembly and install it and tune it etc.

I would not deal outside of RX or Norris. Call around and get some prices.

That shop would be horsepower sales, I was talkin with them last week and they said he'll be coming down to tune people's cars when they get their dyno.
