its just hard to beleive its lost so much value. i see Jensen, Dual and JVC dvd players on here going in the 200s..i cant believe that Pioneer isnt somewhat valued a little higher than those brands

people dont mind going to a lesser name brand or even an off brand because the quality of most has come way up and last much longer now.so people are buyer more of the cheaper and less of the big name stuff.

200 is to low..most on ebay are going for in the 350 area. i have no idea where you are finding these prices for 200. if flip up DVD players are going for that cheap now people would never again be putting the simple 150 alpine and the like players in the cars ever again.

yes it can play DVDs while you drive. however, there is a bypass that must be done. it needs a postive signal from a source identifying that it (the parking brake) is set. any positive signal will trick it into thinking the parking brake is set. i had a toggle switch set inline from a postive source and every time i got in i would toggle it. you have to toggle it each time cause it needs a fresh signal, not a constant., if that makes sense. this is the bypass that must be done on a large amount of them and is very very normal. newer style DVDs player actually have an equilibrium style of setup and they are very very hard to bypass.

yes this will play normal movie DVDs.
