Progressive, by far was the cheapest for me...

statefarm is good, if you do like homeowners, and stuff through them with your car insurance.

Hey Rob.. I was actually getting RAPED by GEICO and never knew it or cared till I moved to FL and my rates jumped. I called and asked why the hike and got no answer or relief. I basically got told that I would have to pay like 250/month (for just the camaro at that time) so I got on the phone and started call'n all the major providers and Progressive beat them all by about $200 or more per 6-month period in my case ($87/month was the rate from progressive for full coverage with higher amounts and more stuff than previously had) . Once I switched, I got a call from GAYCO trying to get me back... *Magically*, they were saying some crap about I qualify for some other preferred insurance or something and it was cheap but, still didn't beat the progressive price. So, NOW, I have 3 cars insured through progressive for $200/month... although, me being over 25 with no tickets or accidents for like 7-8+ years, married, & home owner sorta helps.

I've heard good things about that Grundy insurance but dont they have restrictions on how much you drive it? Like, its intended for hobby or weekend cars, not your typical daily driver, no?

AllState for all 5 vehicles and homeowner's insurance ... been with them since State Farm dicked me over in 1988. Was in the military in Korea for 2 1/2 years. De-registered like they required me to do to put it into storage. When I returned form overseas, they charged me to re-register it because they said my insurance had lapsed, even though I presented them with a letter from the original agent stating it would be re-instated for no charge because I was in the military on a hardship tour.

AllState has done me right everytime since then and I'm extrememly satisified after I re-roofed my house and walked away with money in my pocket and a brand new roof. Also, an illegal rearended me and had no permanent address ... no electric bill or anything else in his name, so, Progressive wouold not pay up. I finally filed a claim with my own insurance company (AllState) and within 3 days, I had a check in my hand, AllState allowed me to withdraw my clain and it didn't cost me a dime.

I had Allstate in Louisiana with 2 home policies. When I came to FL Allstate wanted to rape me. I ended up with Progressive, saving me about $800/yr on 4 vehicles.

I heard that when you are with one company for some time, they don't cut you any break. I found this out, and this Allstate reducing rate stuff they are now offering is a bunch of crap. I had no tickets or claims for YEARS.

Yes correct you must have a daily driver, must have an enclosed garage (no car port). They used to have a mileage restriction of 3000 a year but that has been lifted to unlimited. You cannot drive it to work or the store.
