If not Ill do it. My dad wants to race my car and I dont know if I'll have bought my 98 or later Trans Am or Camaro by then. If by some miracle I get it then Im going to be racing but thats a 1 in a thousand chance.

Yeah, you can hear it when I let off the gas because it wasn't going anywhere spinning like it did.
I think it had to do with the fact that i didn't burn the tires long enough and tried this torque braking thing people with stalled autos do now days.

Thanks man.
Yes, that's my new best. I might go next weekend to try for them 11's.
BTW, those are awesome numbers . It looks like you'll probably be one of those 400+WHP cam only guys if you decide to go that route. Jason did a great job.

1.67 is a good 60 foot time.
The key with stalling up a car is finding a place where the converter allows the "flash" to still happen. If you get the car up on the converter too high (leave at too high an rpm), it will "push" rather than "launch" and then weight transfer won't happen as much, thus possible traction loss.
This might seem a little beginner-ish, but you want to try and do the same thing every time you race. Same length of burnout, same staging procedure and rpm, and always try to line yourself up in the groove before the burnout. That way unless the car kicks one way or another when exiting the burnout box you'll be in the right place to launch.
Just a few things I've picked up in my 17+ years of racing (god I sound old now)

That's funny because I was just thinking about some of the great matches that are gonna happen at the track.
Can't wait.
BTW, I just saw your videos, your car sounds mean as **** man. Should be great runs between us.
