Thumbs up Thank you Rev Xtreme!

I posted this in the sponsor feedback section but you sarasota/bradenton area guys may be interested to know about this shop. They are in the Whitfield industrial park near the airport. I learned about this shop on this forum and am very glad I found Tracy Lewis.

I can barely put into words how happy I am with Tracy Lewis at RevXtreme! I am an experienced mechanic myself and am very picky about the work I have done.
I ordered my new BMR(who's stuff is sweet as well)adj. torque arm, tranny mount, SFC's, and drive shaft loop from Karen (I hope I got her name right) who was knowledgeable and great to deal with. Got a great price on everything.
Then I brought the car in to have the stuff installed. Tracy showed me around his shop and discussed what he does and can do for me including showing my brother and I the 1100hp twin turbo beast of a vette he built. He listened to what I wanted to acomplish with the car and quickly put my mind at ease that I had come to the right place.

His work is absolutely beautiful. We all know some mechanics are better than others and this guy knows his stuff, is a perfectionist, and is a damn nice guy!
He fixed some shoddy work that another non-sponsor shop had done and didn't even bad mout them!

To top it all off, he gave me a hell of a deal! The price was way more than fair to say the least! I don't usually rave about someone's work, but I am so happy with RevXtreme I can hardly stand it! They will be doing every bit of work on my car. I would send my grandmother there without thinking twice!

Thank you very much!

I'll back you up on that! They did my tune and dyno last Friday! Then replaced my tension pulley that I never realized was cheap plastic, as was the power steering pulley and replaced it with his billet!

I don't know who does the tuning, Rob at Skip's Automotive dyno tuned mine. His work was mostly ok and I had heard good things about him and the car got 3 tenth's quicker after his tune, but they did some things that my perfectionist *** feels is unacceptable work. So I looked around and found Rev Xtreme. Tracy just lowered my shift points a little. We both agreed a high mileage stocker shouldn't be shifting at 6500rpm. I really hope we didn't slow it down, but I do believe we may have saved an engine and if I'm lucky, sped it up a hair.

Taking it to BMP tonight. We'll see how she does on a set of tires and with new shift points.
Sucks though, what I gain in traction I lose in hot muggy weather. I ran the 12.4 in February.

Ah, one of those nights. I don't know the DA but it was hot and humid and the track was ***. Nobody was hooking or running well.
I burned the M/Ts off a couple of times (which sucks on stock power).
Ran a best of 1.74 60ft 2 times, previous best was 1.79 on street tires in good air and good track
Ran a few 12.7s and 12.6s at 105mph and a best of 12.57 @ 106
previous best on street tires and stock suspension was 12.41 at 110mph in February

I'm dissapointed but I know full well that's how it goes sometimes.

For the record, I am NOT dissapointed with Rev Xtreme, just the night at the track. Tracy, I will get with you for some fine tuning.

Quickest run of the night, wish I had better video.

Car looks to be leaping out but the 60s don't lie.
