Default Moroso Update - Great News on Track Surface

The plans for the track surface have changed. The original plans were to have concrete to the 1/8 mile, mill off the top of the asphalt and be repaved.

The track surface has since been upgraded.

It will be totally concrete start to finish. It is being done according to NHRA National Events Specs and NHRA tracks specialist Wayne McMurtry is consulting on the drag strip rebuild.

I wish someone would build something like that up here in CT. That's gonna be really nice when it's all done

Plans look good, hope it does come out like this. Moroso might be back to its old ways of racer friendly and hooking...

With concrete the entire lenth, that thing should be awesome.

CT so needs a place like that, even just an 1/8th mile track would be great at this point

How often did they have open track days for the road course? As much fun as it is to get a better e.t., I enjoy a twisty road much more, never been on a track yet though.
