Default *** Cartek C5 Vette Rear-Mount 9.32 at 150+ ***

At Thursday's rental my Cartek rear-mount single turbo ran a best of 9.32 at 150+ with a 1.43 60ft , still on my pump gas tune , ran it a little lighter this time , still a little over 3700lbs , the boost is getting turned up in the next week or so . I really beat on the car today , I was trying to break it and it kept taking it , I must have made a dozen runs , even hot lapped it a few times , my Cartek 402cid motor and RPM 4L80E trans performed like clockwork . Today was the first time I got some consistent seat time with the new set up , we'll see what happens with another 4-5lbs of boost .
As always , the car was driven to and from the track(150 miles round trip) and run in full street trim . I'm looking forward to the next few weeks , I'll keep beating on this car until I get to my goal .

I tried Mike , any higher and it would just blow the tires off , I left on 4lbs of boost on that run , I've got a new set of drag radials going on this week .

Thanks , I can't believe it's that heavy either , my big butt has something to do with it , I weigh about 320lbs , the car has a full cage , heavy azs 4L80E trans , the biggest air to air intercooler I've ever seen on a C5 Vette , miscellaneous custom braces , brackets etc , lots of braided line , etc , etc , etc .

Here's a pic I took from inside the car a few weeks ago , this is with 3/4 tank of fuel , both seats in it , and some miscellaneous junk in my car .

I weighed the car at Englishtown , Raceway Park NJ . It was the night before a huge 10.5 tire Outlaw race and they were teching in cars for the weekend so I know the scale was accurate .

The converter is fairly tight , I'm running a Midwest 3400 stall , and a 3.42 gear out back . The drivability is excellent , I could've went with a Turbo-400 and an air-to-water IC and been in the 8's already , but I'm not willing to give up my overdrive , I take this car on 200+ mile trips . I gave up performance to keep it more streetable , I'll crack that 8.99 soon .

Here's a few pics of the car ,
