Default looking for the right cam

I have a 99 z28, putting in a t4 turbo .56 running about 8 psi. I want a cam that will give me a little more power and a rougher idle. Car is more or less stock. Looking for a cam will work good with the turbo and will not break my bank. Any suggestions?

Any cam that doesn't have a silly low LSA. Anything 114+ will work great, without a ton of valve overlap. Depends on gearing, auto or manual, stall?

That's the same setup I had in the TA, with a rear mounted masterpower T-70 turbo with a .68 turbine, .70 compressor. With the hotcam, longtubes and stock LS1, it wouldn't spool for crap, but when it did, it'd haul ***. I was a LOT happier with an LQ4 with stock cam, and manifolds. It would spool SOOO much quicker, so keep in mind bigger doesn't always mean better. With that low of a gear, you're going to have a tough time spooling that thing if it's big (which I doubt with an AR of .56) with a big cam that will bleed off boost. I'd go with something with a reverse split, or straight pattern on a 114-116LSA.

No worries man, I've been there, done that, would rather not have someone follow in my footsteps and be disappointed, lol. =)
