what is a good AR number for a 6L with a 76 trim turbo,

and down the road a built 6L

It would depend on the exact turbo, details on the engines, and goals for the car.

If its a front mount most common is a 96 for ls1. Probably a good choice for a 6.0 aswell. If you are going to max the turbo out down the line, and want to shoot for a higher number on a 76 you may want to try something around 1.00.

All that being said i have a 1.12 ar on a gt4276 on a ls1, and i dont think its bad at all. But i wonder how quick a 96 would spool for me.

I had twin 76's with the .96a/r on my 377. Spooled up fine! You shouldn't have any problems.
