What size pully do you have on the blower? I have the sdce spring, 8 rib, and i'm seeing 12#s of boost with the 3.7" pully. You can run a 3.4" pully on the D1 that will spin more and work with the sdce spring. I don't get to caught up in the boost #'s because its just a measure of restriction. I could swap my 1 3/4" lt's for 1 7/8" or 2" primarys and probly loose a few #'s of boost and make more power.

I'm happy with the set up. The tentioner can be a bitch to set but once you get it locked down the belt is good and tight and no slipage.

The SDCE will turn a D1SC well over max impeller speed with ease.
With a D1SC/SDCE I ran 9.17 @ 149 in the 1/4 with a 346, AFR 225 heads, LS6 intake. It was ~17psi. Naturally it was a car set up for drag racing and fairly light (3350lbs), that weigh a 3.4 blower pulley.

dont see the point in the boost number.... just do the math and run the blower at max impeller speed. I think I figured its about 62000 at 7000 with a 7.25 crank and a 3.4 blower on my SDCE setup. Dont care what it makes for boost, long as it makes the power.

with the 3.4 pulley im seeing around 17lbs, but my heads are probably more restrictive. IE more "boost" but less flow. put on the 3.4 pulley spin the blower to max and run with it.

OK , what about lifting the heads??? with the +15psi of boost?
I have stock Absolute Speed 241ported heads with GM mls gaskets and ARP head studs.
With the Diamond -8.6 cc blower pistons and around 9.3 compression , pump gas and Alky control methanol injection , how much boost can be ran?
