Default I think I screwed up my compression numbers

I have a 346 with -16cc pistons, stock stroke, stock 317s (72cc). I used calculators on here to come up with I believe 9.1:1. My engine builder said it would be something more along the lines of 8.8:1. Maybe someone can help?

i am getting low 8's depending on head gasket thickness and piston to deck clearance

so sounds like your engine builder might be a little off as well....

according to this...http://www.c5frc.com/calculators/Com...Calculator.htm

its low 8's, just mill the heads to get it where you want, at least its not too high

**** this sucks. Now that I think about it, I may have ordered -11cc dish.. There's no way I could've been a full compression point off.
