Default Aluminum Or Aluminized Pipeing

Was just wondering if any of you guys have used aluminized pipeing for your coldside pipeing on your turbo setups.Is there any reasons not to use It besides It weighing more than aluminum.

The aluminum pipe is also better at dissapating heat, possibly helping cool down the Iat temps a little more. I dont know if it will be substantial.

aluminized is steel piping with anticorrosion aluminum coating. sand that off to weld it.

That was my biggest concerne with useing aluminum was trying to weld it.Ive welded aluminized quite abit but never aluminum.

i use stainless personally. for me it is easier to work with. i have a supplier where it is cheaper than aluminized piping

+1 on the stainless. easier to work with and it looks better. only its expensive as hell.
