Default Custom Remote Mount Turbo System...

Here are a few pics of my 2004 chevrolet truck with a custom remote mount turbo system.

This is the older setup with the 4.8L and 60-1 turbo

This is the intercooler and custom shroud

I will be racking the truck tommorrow and I will get some pics of the new setup with the gt-76 turbo

Yeah it's a LQ9 Block with diamond 2618 alloy pistons, compstar rods, comp cam and ported 317 heads.

The compression is about 8.8:1

I've been considering a custom front mount turbo for my 00 silverado. I'd make one similar to this
http://www.nelsonperformance.com/ft_MountTurbo.htm

Just out of curiousity why did you go with a remote mount?
