Default 2BAR MAP sensor clip question

Hey all,

I bought a BAR MAP sensor for my Firebird and went to swap it in today but had to grind off one of the "ears" to make it fit.

Like an idiot I was rushing and I ground off the wrong ear. Lesson learned, don't rush.

So I then ground off the other ear so now I have a sensor that has no "ears" for the clip. Anyone have any experience with this? I want to get to tuning the car but now I'm afraid the MAP sensor will bop out under boost.

Any feedback appreciated.

FYI, I just ordered a new sensor. I should be ok with what I have to at least tune non-boost regions right until the new sensor shows up right?

TIA

Use a tiewrap around the body of the 2 sides of the connector for insurance.

My problem is I can barely get one hand back there. I'll see if I can get it ziptied some time this week.

Thanks for the feedback.

It doesn't take much time to take the intake off.
