Default Fastest fullweight car with a 76 gts?

I know this is one of those gay threads about the fastest red car with black wheels on a tuesday.

All jokes aside I am interested in what the fastest 76 gts car is out there that is not a stripped down race car.

Doesnt need to be a totally full weight car for comparison sake just not a lightweight car. This car wants to know.

I still need to turn mine up more, so far my best pass was only at ~16 psi and I have it set to run 20. Just gotta get back out to the track but it's hard to get in any passes before I get kicked out. My car is heavier than stock so I guess that qualifies as full weight, LOL.

Local guy here in the DFW area has gone the fastest with a 76mm turbo. He went a 5.4 in the 1/8th.

He weighed around 3k. It was in a Mustang, very basic setup with a hyd cam.

Got a break down of the pass? I am more interested in full weight cars, but its cool either way.

i went a best of 6.57 in the 1/8th in full street trim (heat, a/c, stereo, full interior, etc.). my problem was the 76 was too much of a restriction for the 383ci. oh yeah, this was w/ an LT1 also. great little turbo for the money! an old man w/ a 2000 cobra bought it from me and has already run faster with it than i ever did, and he is just starting the tuning process.

Not as impressive as others but does meet your question requirements.
Went times in sig but have gone nearly 140mph on same set-up just a little later in the night. I think with a good converter in the car (i.e. not the $300 one that was in it), the car would have gone high 9's. It's a precision 76GTS.
Don't know the exact weight of the car but has to be close to 3850-3900lbs: Full interior, power seats, a/c, 5pt bar, boxed subframes, steel drive shaft, spohn TA, moser 12-bolt with big axles in it; everything but the spare tire basically and I am 225lbs.

Edit: stock longblock minus cam and I do have a Ls6 intake on it. FWIW

Great thread.

I wish I could get an SUV down to what you guys consider "full weight".
