Thanks guys, we appreciate it! The D-1SC is indeed the blower I would go with, as it will allow you to run up to 16 psi of boost once you have a forged bottom end. Here is a link to our complete D-1SC kit.

Fully installed price.

Thanks! Bob

turbo > centri > roots

You don't have many options with a roots type blower, most of them will not fit under the cowl. I think LME makes a magnacharger kit for the f-body, but forget about a whipple or kenne bell fitting on a camaro.

I've heard whipples are not the most efficient. Most people seem to think the Magnacharger is a better choice. The thing I like about the Maggie is the by pass valve that keeps boost down when cruising to get better mileage. Here's a quote from their site:
"Internal bypass valve" virtually eliminates parasitic loss...and delivers a proven 30 to 66% increase in real world "under the curve" power. Best of all, it costs less than 1/3 of a horse at 60 mph. Now that's real efficiency."

A turbo would be a good way to go also but a magnacharger is nice and compact compared to a turbo and would be easier to install

Magnacharger is the only roots style blower that I know of that fits underneath the hood of an f-bod. Id still go with procharger. My opinion is biased though.

LM Speed is the company you want to go with as they make a kit that can be installed on a F body.

I don't remember if kenny bell has a blower out for the F-bodies, Magnacharger only recently released theirs because of cowel clearance issues, but it seems like Magnacharger and Kennybell are the top choices for roots/twin screw SCs.

kenny bell has a blower that will work for the motor, but it wont fit in a f body.

I think Procharger > magnacharger
I have just never been impressed with the number from maggie cars, or vetts.
But in the end, turbo is greater then all.
