what cam should i be running?
originally i called Comp and told them i wanted a blower cam and that i would be installing a blower in the next year or so. well they gave me this number, being as i know jackshit about how cams, i took there word for it and bout this
HYDRAULIC ROLLER-Good in factory
Noticeable increase over stock cam.
LT1, Hyd. Hyd. 1000 to 5000 RPM

Grind# 266HR-14
Duration advertised in 266 ex 276
duration @.050 in 210 ex 220
Lift int .500 exh.510
Lobe sep angle 114°
so any cam experts in here?
the engine is a 1997 Vortec engine i have comp pro mag 1.6 roller rockers, and i want to continue to stick with a roller cam and hydrolic lifters. the engine also has Edelbrock E-tec 200 heads 2.02 int 1.60 exh ports. and a procharger system running about 8 lbs of boost max. any suggestions?
