If you use a gasket between the block and plate it should all fit, if thats what you are asking.

the head on the drivers side sits up further than the passenger head. you have to mill the motor plate to get the head to go on the block. i need to know if anyone here knows how much the plate needs to be milled?

All the plates I have used for the ls1 clear AFTER using a water pump gasket between the plate and the block. Clearance was tight but it cleared.

You need to use the GM water pump gaskets. The head will clear just fine.
