Wrong board dude. You should be able to get it to work. We've gotten a gt47 to work on a 2.0L. An off the shelf GT55 does not work on a motor of that displacement.

how much power are you looking to make?? anything upto 1100bhp you would be better using the GT4202. its been tried and tested on the 4G63T (and 4G64) engiens streched to 2.3ltr.

also listen to Shearer. He knows what he is talking about!

Borat is that you???

does it sense... ?? please pose a specific question.. sort answer NO... and by the time you are done spending 50-100.000 dollars on upgrading everything on your car.. and converting it to quatro (audi for awd) the part number of the turbo wont really matter...

it would seem that the best advice to give would be... check your bank account, or under your maddress and when you find the money, send your audi to molde racing in norway or some other euro shop near you with experience in building 1200 hp + audis...

ok.. i just noticed you were in germany.. arent there a million tunershops around you that can help you???

and you really should figure out what your engine combo is before asking about part numbers on turbinehousings... just download garetts catalogue, all the turbine and compressor maps are in there...

but what is your compression ratio?
what octane fuel will you run ?
how much intercooling ?
will you run water/methanol injection ?
what RPM band will you need to make most torque at?
what are the actual flow numbers of your cylinder head?
what is the primary tube length of your header ?
What camshaft duration, lift, ramp lobe seperation and centerline do you run?
what is the flow of your intake manifold?
what is the primary use of the car ?
will you run nitrous to assist spool-up
what is an acceptable lag for you?

If its a drag only car you can shoot for the moon, I think a great turbo is a bullseye s362 or 35r is a good combination of response and power. If you go super laggy you'll make lots of power but I don't think the combo will be very fun. You can run a 40R or a 42R, but thats as much as I'd go with. Us small displacement guys do it a little different. (i have a bunch of experience with 1.8t) PM me if you need some help from another audi guy. The domestic turbo setups are TOTALLY different.

Well sell a ton of GT DBB series turbos overseas to the BMW, Audi and Nissan crowd. A 4718R will work on alcohol, but on gas it will be a little to much lag. Most of our smaller displacement guys go with the GT4508R or GT4208R as well. The GT42 with the 80mm comp wheel is sick for most small setups.

The GT35R is also an awesome turbo as well. The BW362 you buy off the shelf from Borg Warner and its a ETT wheel, but it does lag a little more then the GT35R, but will support a few more ponies since it does use a lagger comp wheel. The GT37R is the ticket though.....

No its a true GT42 turbine wheel and unit with the new 80mm comp wheel. Very nice turbo indeed!!!

The GT42 machined housings on the GT45 is also doable, but it runs the larger 88mm turbine wheel which is ok on an EVO, but a little laggy.
