Default Belt-driven centrifugals..

Hi guys!

I'm building an LS-1 powered '72 Maverick. The engine is a complete '03 Corvette LS-1 with factory accessory drive (except for the S&P A/C compressor setup) that is carb'ed and running the MSD-6010 box. I'm looking for ideas on centrifugal blowers that will fit my engine with a minimum of fuss. I'd like to keep my front drive as stock as possible. Mainly looking at the bracketry, pump, and belt setup (the piping I can do). Most of the MFG sites only show complete kits for FI systems!

Russ, you could start with the ATI ProCharger C5/C6 Corvette Stage 2 bracket assembly, and use an ATI ProCharger D-1SC head unit. Check this build on this C5 using the above kit. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=54

You will need this harmonic balancer. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=859

Air inlet or you can fab your own. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...html?item=1499

Bob,

Thanks for the info! Does this 8-rib blower run a separate drive belt? If not, I'm ASSuming I'll need 8-rib pulleys for all factory accessories too? Where would I get those? Do you have any close-ups of the blower installed to the motor with the factory drive accessories in place?

Thanks!

Russ

Not a problem Russ. The 8 rib drive accessory bag includes the pulley's for the accessories. The a.c. would still stay on it's own belt, but the blower would run off of the main drive belt.

I looked around, I don't see any good close up pictures of the belt lay-out. Bob
