If the BOVs leak, yes, anything will gain power.

If you do your homework, and do a boost leak check, you will find problems if there are any.

Ive not had a problem with the stock APSs, other than at high boost, they are on the verge of not flowing enough air.

what he means is that its been beaten to death (not on here but all over the internet) and that its pretty muchBS, i hate those comparisons with all these stupid *** BOV's...So you mean to tell me they "randomly" picked a 500hp turbocharged Z06 (which is making **** power to begin with in my opinion, must be boosting 5psi lol) with supposed high quality components like APS installed in it and they picked up that much power from items that arent meant to ADD horsepower??? BOV's either do their job correctly, are leaking and need to be replaced, or were adjusted incorrectly by some jackass who doesn't know the difference bewteen a BOV and a wastegate(which is probably what happened in this lovely demonstration). I wish i could advertise **** like that, have everyone buy my stuff, and be a millionaire, but thats what the interenet has done to the world, its amazing :end rant:

Quickness will depend on the level of a vacuum and also the spring pressure used in the BOV. Check the Tial and Turbosmart BOV's.....they are lightning quick.
