Default 6 bolt head question

I feel like a jackass for not knowing this already BUT, Can you use a six bolt head on a 4 bolt block and just not utilize the other two? I ask because if I can buy one set of heads and use them on the next bigger/better build it would save some cash. I posted this here because they are both going to be forced induction applications.

haha! I heard the weather as poop there. Be careful on the roads man, those fockers can't drive in snow/ice. I won't be back until hot/sunny July. And we are DEFINITELY going to have some beers. Obviously this dog has been let off of the leash.

For sure man... so are you going to stay home for good this time?? I'm finishing up the turbo build on mine but am debating on keeping the 6 liter block that I have now or upgrade to the LSX block with 6 bolt heads... decisions, decisions. Take care brother and see you home soon..

I'd say beat that 6 liter block till she breaks, OR sell it and make some money on it towards the next build. O-ring/receiver groove machine work on block and heads is less than $500. 20psi with a good tune, half inch head studs, and copper gaskets = sweetness and no water pushing.
