Default How much boost can stock headbolts handle?

I am wondering how much boost the stock headbolts can handle because my buddie has a 99 T/A and we are putting 317 heads and a z06 cam in in preperation for the sts kit on order. I am looking for somewhat specific answers like 10 or 14 PSI. Thanks for your help!

Spend the extra money and get arp studs. Saving money now may cost you more in the future.

boost doesn't matter its the power output. That being said i have made 1000+ on the ARP head bolts.

My pick up truck makes 800hp at the flywheel and has seen boost PSI as high as 19, although in everday drive mode its around 12psi. It is a 6.0 liter engine and has stock bolts, MLS factory gaskets and 90,000 miles on it.

The thread/bolt size to reliability factor may be different between an iron block and an aluminum block. Wouldn't you think? Just another issue since we are including the iron block in this discussion.

Has anyone ever done tensile strength testing on the stock bolts vs. ARP's?
