No.....the red plug has to be on the bottom. That is the drain.

Agreed. Oil is only pumped into the turbo. The red cap in the picture is wear the dump tube goes that dumps oil back to the oil pan.

Loosen up everything again, and clock the center section so that oil can be feed from above, and drain out the bottom.

should I loosen the bolts on the intake side instead of the exhaust side? Because it will not be clocked how I want it if the drain is down.

Loosen both the compressor and the turbine housings, hold the "intake" and "exhaust" steady, while you rotate the center housing 180 degrees. Why do you have the center housing upside down?

I know this is not brain science it's upside down because I loosenthe bolts on the exhaust hosing side and the whole thing rotated together. So I want to loosen the 4 bolts on the compressor side? I don't want to f&$& this up

its fine to loosen everything back up, and clock it until it fits for your application, and meets the oil flow needs of the turbo.

No, those are the backplate bolts. Those would only allow the backplate and comp housing to rotate, but we recommend you do not loosen these. Only the housing bolts. You can remove the housings (Comp. and Turb.) without voiding the warranty. If the turbine housing is sticking, you can use a rubber mallet (hitting the scroll part of the housing) to remove it or break it free.

Only loosen the red circled bolts, do not loosen the red X holes.

Edited, see above pic for bolts to loosen, and which you should not.

Dog is so big, it could make any turbo look small.

That dog makes your turbo look tiny. Looks like a giant version of my dog. What breed?
