Street cars what fuel systems are you running?

Alright guys i have a 98SS with an Incon Twin Turbo kit I have an External Aeromotive pro Series pump with a sump tank.I was wondering if theres anything I could do with my fuel system to make it more street friendly.Could I run another external pump on the passenger side for the street and put a switch on the bigger one for when I need to use it.Is that possible or any suggestions?

What do you mean by street friendly? What kinds of problems are you having now? What is your in-tank pump? (Remember, the external pump will always be limited by the smaller one in the tank) I suppose you could add another external pump and run it off of a hobbs switch, but three pumps is overkill-and from the sounds of things your setup is not right.

I mean it gets hot after running it so long and it cuts off.i dont have a in-tank pump because I have a sump tank and my question was if I could run another external so I wont be running on the big pump all the time just only when I need it!

Why not just run more of a big street pump like a magnafuel they are supposed to work fine on the street. I have decided to go dual intank but single magnafuel would be my second choice.

There's no reason that you can't put in a couple of y's and run the pumps side by side. You just have to make sure that the fuel only goes in one direction and may have to put in one way check valves in front of each pump if the pump flows while it's turned off.

Buy some Bosch 044 fuel pumps. One pump is good for 700hp.

Pretty sure just the pump. Got to nasty performance a sponsor and check under their fuel systems. He can set you up for sure with a nice big street pump. They are also supposed to be pretty quiet.

you can get a voltage controller that will reduce the heat by lowering pump voltage while cruising or at idle. The aeromotive pumps are notorious for heating gas in EFI applications.
