I have a brand new in box holset HY35W, does anyone have an idea what this is worth? also would this work with a custom turbo set up for an lsx type engine or would another type be better? basically wanting to find out what its worth!

its a Holset HY35W Turbo

Its cummins 5.9 turbo i think. The w is the one that not many want cause I think its either less power or harder to fit. I think it was made for the real early cummins like 93 and earlier, but it might have been 98.5 to 2002. They are limited to about 400-450 hp and I ve seen them for 200-300$. I think they are 400 - 500 new frm a dealer.

i know it was a cummins turbo and it came on automatic trans engines up to 04. i cant seem to find much info on them i saw aa few used sell for 350, this one is new in box just wanting to know if i could use it or what i should ask to sell it.

I bought a new hx35 for my 98 for 235 off ebay. I d start at 200 on abay and hope it goes 300 at the end.

Then I d buy something in the 67 + area depending on 100 conditions you havnt gone into. Figure Rob or Jose can probably get you into something for 600 to 750 depending on your exact needs.
