Default What is the best 2 step

Are all two steps about the same or are some better than others for use in a turbo car.

There is new plug and play two step in high tech performance mag think it was msd?
It looked pretty neat. Lingenfelter which I also have has some extra stuff for antilag or retarding timing according to boost, etc.

Two steps are fun toys. And useful for turbo manual cars especially but still useful for autos as well for nice consistent launching.

I saw the ad for the msd in hi tec .I have a 4l80e with a trans brake but figured I would need a 2 step to be able to build more boost on the line.I am not familiar with 2 steps so simple would probably be better for me.

Advantage to the msd might be price and if person don't need antilag or extra timing retard the ling can give. I have not hooked up my ling unit but for sure will be.

Where does the new msd one hook up to? How much is it? Who is selling it already?

I just seen they started making one in the GMHT mag as well.

I really like my Lingenfelter TWO step. It actually has TWO limiters on it. The other one has one step and a rpm retard function which the TWO step does not.

It under electrical..
http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...gory_Code=C163

This is the one I got by not installed yet.
They also have the one for 10 bucks less but not really clear on the difference. Its true two step and the one I got isn't?

The other one is 10 bucks cheaper.Maybe someone can explain the diff to me. I wanted both antilag and launch control which thought the first one gives. Too bad it can also take out timing from nitrous and be used as antilag at same town ,sounds like it can't. So possibly would need still a separate timing control for my nitrous? Or maybe since not running that much timing anyway due to the turbo won't have to worry about it.Don't plan to get greedy on timing.
