I think you need to find a way to get air to pass through the intercooler.......what about mounting the intercooler horizontally? I have seen it done.....think it was ChevyChad

Mine is mounted horizontally. I trimmed the underside of the nose a bit, and cut a bit of material around the holes where the front edges of the intercooler come to. Mounting horizontally makes it look more 'stock' and it uses the stock air path up thru the radiator.

How much boost are you looking at? I think it would be fine up to a certain amount. You could always put a small fan in the center of it that would be behind the middle section to help draw air to it.

Im have the smallest pully on there now and I make 560 RWHP I want to leave the front alone and add the FMIC with no modification at all to the front of the car. If I do this would I see a big difference?
